The Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company has announced that a system disturbance was experienced on Friday at about 12.40 hours, saying that such development affected all feeders.
The DisCo announced this development in a public notice on its official X handle, but quickly assured that efforts were currently being coordinated by the National County Centre to effect restoration of supply to all locations affected by the development.
"Dear Esteemed Customers, be informed that we experienced a system outage on Friday at 12.40pm affecting all feeders.
"Efforts are currently being coordinated by the National County Centre to effect restoration of supply to all locations affected by the development," the DisCo said.
It would be recalled that there was also a system collapse at 2.01 on December 29, 2025, which resulted to loss of power supply across their network.
