The 2027 Governorship Aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran JANDOR, has mourned the passing of the Akran of Badagry Kingdom, His Majesty, De Wheno Aholu Menu-Toyi I, who joined his ancestors at the age of 89.

The APC governorship aspirant, in a statement by his spokesperson, Mr. Gbenga Ogunleye, described the late Oba Akran as a revered traditional ruler, a custodian of culture, and a symbol of unity whose reign contributed significantly to the peace, stability, and cultural heritage of Badagry Kingdom and Lagos State at large.

JANDOR extended his heartfelt condolences to the royal family, the chiefs and people of Badagry Kingdom, as well as the government and people of Lagos State, stating that the monarch’s death marked the end of an era and a profound loss to traditional institutions in Nigeria.

“May the legacy of service, peace, and cultural pride upheld by His Majesty continue to inspire present and future generations,” JANDOR prayed.
