Aare Onakakanfo of Yorubaland, Iba Gani Adams, has described the 10-year reign of Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, as "very impactful," saying that his milestone coronation anniversary was an enduring dedication to his people and the positive impact on society.

The Yoruba generalissimo said this in a statement, copy of which was made available to newsmen on Friday, noting that the Ooni, over the past decade, had demonstrated exceptional leadership, wisdom, and commitment to the cultural heritage and development of Ile-Ife, the Yoruba nation and the country at large.

Iba Adams noted that Ooni's efforts in promoting peace, unity, and socio-economic progress had earned him respect and admiration both within Nigeria and internationally.

"As a custodian of Yoruba traditions and values, the Ooni has played a pivotal role in fostering inter-communal harmony and advancing the rich cultural legacy of the ancient city of Ife," he said.

Iba Adams recalled that Ooni's visionary initiatives had also contributed significantly to tourism, education, and community development in the region.

He prayed for continued good health, strength, and divine guidance as Ooni continues to lead the people of Ife and the Yoruba race towards greater heights.
